Get To Know Willie Mullins ...
Willie has been racing his whole life. He got his start going straight in the NHRA Jr Dragster program. Between then and now, he has raced just about anything with wheels on it. Williie is a road course specialist, running in the SCCA with the V-8 Stock car series. Grabbing the title of Grand Nation Champion in 2006. After a few unsucessfull outings in the ARCA series in 2008 and 2009, Mullins Racing took 2010 off to regroup.
The team came back out, partnered up with the legendary #5 and went back to New Jersey. With a new look to the car, and some new names on the car, came a whole new outlook on the weekend. Crow Wing Recycling came on board as title sponsor, as well as Summit Recycling, and of course the teams main stay, Bugsys Auto. The team came into the weekend feeling strong and ready to finally get the checkered flags for the first time in Millville. Some minor issues did hold the team back through out the weekend, but a solid finish was the reward. Everyone is ready and excited to go for next year!
